Otley pupils come mainly from the village of Otley and surrounding villages. The number on roll is currently 70.
The buildings date back to about 1912 but have been modernised and extended in 2003. The new extension comprises of an Early Years classroom, administration and staff areas, kitchen and accessible toilet. An additional teaching area was completed in May 2010. In addition a secure Early Years play area has been established. We are also very fortunate in having a large playing field attached to the school on which is our conservation area.
The two schools are linked under a shared Headteacher and a single governing body. Each school retains its own dedicated staff and its own unique identity, whilst at the same time sharing planning and some resources, and arranging some shared activities for the children to enhance their curriculum access. The school budgets are maintained separately.
These pages will give you information about the various different 'formal' aspects to our school.
